During our last stay at the Maison des Lévriers, we once again completed a number of projects.
Among other things, we planted new plants, created beds, installed climbing aids and furnished a room in the barn for our garden fairy.
The façade above the kitchen was cleaned and repointed, and the chimney was finally renovated.
This enabled us to install and connect the chimney pipe and FINALLY put the wood-burning stove in the dining room into operation.
We also purchased and installed a garbage can box so that everything can be stored safely for dogs. We are also planning to buy this for Picauville, but not until September when we are back on site.
During this work, a pair of storks were interested in the middle chimney as a nesting site, but unfortunately the hustle and bustle probably disturbed them. We are now hoping for next year!
