Village of superlatives - world's best brioche and most photographed waterfall in Normandy
Le Vast is located in the Val de Saire and has around 300 inhabitants. The village is very picturesque and has a lot to offer.
The Château de la Germonière
Originally founded in 1803 as a spinning mill, it was later demolished and built in its current form as a residential building in 1892. The garden was redesigned several times and the waterfalls of the three former mills were merged. This is how today's château with the famous bridge in front of the waterfalls was created.
Opposite the waterfall is a cow pasture. If you walk along the fence towards the little river, you will come to a pretty spot that is ideal for a picnic in summer.
Not to mention the absolute best brioche ever - if you believe the rumors.
